Steering Damper missing bits ?

Hi I’ve attached photos of my steering Damper. As you can see there’s a bit missing , to join it to the shaft. I’m not sure if its the original damper. Does any body know what bit fits in the dogs to join it to the shaft ?

Jonathan the dogs on the back just locate on the stearing head.the bolt that’s up the middle should have a big washer on it. its the same as the one on my two speeder. only on mine its the bolt that holds the handle bars on that holds it.

As far as I remember there should be a expander bolt in the steering head stem ( a la cycle handlebars ) the expander may have dropped down the stem .Regards D F.

Shine a torch down inside the steering head to see if you still have the expander cone. It may be wedged in place or floating around loose inside the tube. Tap it downwards to free it if it is still wedged, then fish it out with one of those telescopic retrieval magnets. If it is missing talk to Barry Jackson, as he will probably have the parts in stock.
