Im new to the Scott scene so please be gentle….
I have a 1931 Powerplus and have just refurbished the Pilgrim pump. I have only had this bike a week so i havent gone as far as taking the crankcase inspection covers off yet, but i will need to to refit the pump. There are two nuts (behind the pump side cover) for the pump mounting bolts but they are loose so i cant get the bolts to engage them.
My plan is to take the cover off, fit the pump and then refit the cover. Would this be correct??
Once the cover retainers are removed should the cover just come away or is the a trick to it?? I have removed the retainers but the cover seems stuck fast!! I thought i would ask before applying too much pressure and breaking something!!
