Swing arm Scott wanted

😀 😀 Sold my electric start Scott recently. I recieved the following email from his pal.. Anyone got one for sale?? Just PM me and Ill pass it on

I delivered Scott to a very exited Norman today even more exited when I opened van door and got the surprise of his life Santa had come early.
Really likes Scott so much so he wants me to find him a 600cc swing arm model!! I did tell you when Norman gets it into his head think he wants his mate to ride with him. E/start would be dream come true but one with the decompressor fitted would be good any help in locating a good one would be appreciated.

Hi Ted, You are a couple of months late, because I sold a late 1930s model that had been converted to swinging arm to a member in Barrow-in-Furness. It was a ONE kick starter. The easiest starter I’ve had since my 1927 long wheelbase Flyer over 20 years ago, and that was also a one kick job.

I can confirm that the bike I got from Brian is very easy to start even for a Scott novice like me. I have been tidying up the machine and it’s starting to look as I want it, tidy but not overdone. I will post some pictures when I figure out how to do it. Derek

I may be willing to part with my 56 Birmingham – older restoration never quite finished due to business. unique bike being the tenth Brum prototype – I have owned for 2 decades (ughh) Been stored in my office for 10 years. 🙂
