Syston Park

I had a couple of bikes on the two stroke club stand at Cadwell last week and got chatting to a man who is part of a group hoping to bring back some sort of motor sport to Syston Park ( a pre war racing circuit ),that has Scott racing history. They will be organising a gathering of vintage and pre war vehicles at the site on the 20th. September 2015. Anyone interested please contact Mark Boswell on 01529413894. The group would also be interested in any documentation, photographs, etc. relating to the circuit. Syston Park is located a few miles north of Grantham Lincs. near Barkston airfield. Hi Alan, Somewhere I have a couple of photos of Nottingham Scott dealer George Richards racing a semi-works TT Replica and sidecar at Syston Park in 1929 or 1930. It looks to have been a very primitive circuit, on mainly unmade roads and tracks around the estate of the big house.
