Well, the problem is solved :o)
The Mrs brought the solution…. in the form of the vaccuumcleaner! I had already bored out the two little holes in the bottom of the casing a bit so that the spigot would pass through. But fiddling with a piece of wire did not do any good, in fact even after prolonged trying I did not even know for sure the part was even there!
Then my wife had the idea of putting the vaccuumcleaner over the holes… and besides a lot of noise it also produced the missing part!!!
So, three hurrays for my wife and another lesson learned!
