Please make a note in your diary that THE GATHERING will be held on Sunday 28th August at Abbotsholme School, Rocester, Uttoxeter, Staffs, ST14 5BS. Members, non-members, enthusiasts, and autojumblers all very welcome.

A reminder that The Gathering 2011 will be held from 10am on Sunday 28nd August, 2011 at:
Abbotsholme School,
Rocester,
Uttoxeter,
Staffs, ST14 5BS

There is a small charge per person ‘on the gate’; for entry, good facilities, and no extra charge for jumble pitches, so please bring your unwanted spares along.

As far as I know the rally is the whole weekend with the JUM-run on Saturday and the “official” gathering on Sunday.

Sorry………… didn’t mean to confuse.

The SCOTT WEEKEND is as normal this year, the dates are:

Arrive… Friday 26th August
John’s memorial run… Saturday 27th August
The Gathering… 28th August
Depart… evening 28th August

I agreed to help Eddie with the event by taking some of the weight of “The Gathering” off his shoulders, so I was just flying my particular flag, to remind those who do not attend the weekend that they are still very welcome to drop in on Sunday.

There was an announcement to this effect on the reverse side of the loose AGM flyer with February Yowl. Some members did not get it, which did not help.

Perhaps the Saturday /weekend stuff should therefore be repeated in the next available Yowl, the June issue if Eddie Shermer hasn’t already put it to bed.

Dates have been in the table of events in the Yowl and booking form for the weekend and details of Sunday gathering will be in the next edition

You may notice that the start time of THE GATHERING is given as 11am in the motorcycle press. Eddie Shermer is happy for Club members and readers of this forum to arrive from 10am as previously stated in this posting. The School are charging a modest £2.50 per person for entrance to the event.
