Road test of Super Squirrel in Sept 3 1924 issue of Motor Cycling refers to “straight through Induction system, the transfer port covers and induction manifold being a single casting”. Illustrated is what looks like an earlier crank case with a Super block and ‘Wardonia’ combined port covers and inlet stub.
Would this have been a works development hack or was this set up actually used on early Supers?
Probably all well known but not to me if anyone can shed light.
Thanks.
