I am still trying to find a modern colour to match the cerise that was offered as an alternative on the 30 two speeder but with no luck. has any one ever seen one in this colour. what does it look like. the dictionary and the internet say cerise is bright red, I cant imagine Scott using a bright red in 1930. hope someone can help eric
I have always considered it to be a fairly dark red, almost Maroon, or Cherry Red. Donkey’s years ago, when ICI used to make “Brushing Belco” cellulose paint, they had a shade called “Coronation Red”, which was just the job.

I’ve just had a quick look on the internet, and there are several mentions of ‘Coronation Red’, including some up to date paint reference numbers, (Dupont, etc..), so it should still be available.
