During investigation into the Super / Two Speeder forks, I made contact with club member Ellis Billington.
A few years back, Ellis had a mishap with his Super. The front mudguard securing failed and the mudguard went round the wheel. The Super forks were very badly damaged that it would have been unsafe to try and repair them. Ellis made five sets of taper crown wide type (1928 on) forks complete. They really are an excellent job with proper cast steel lugs and complete with all bushes and bearings. We discussed upgrading them with the high strength stems we are about to make. If anybody has a project that needs a set of Super forks, or wants to upgrade by fitting a set of wide Super forks and thus be able to use a bigger brake, please contact us. As regards the replacement high strength stems, these are £148 and fitting is £67. We have kept the price low as we are batching up the heat treatment with a current batch of long stroke cranks.
