They are available out of India but I have found the metal to be suspect, I purchased an Indian made girder fork on which that piece had snapped in half when the previous owner was trying to install it. My local machinist is supposed to be fabricating some for me out of steel but he does this between his big money jobs from his 2 day customers(I think I am a 2 year customer!!)
I did get one from India but it was very poorly cast and the taper was too narrow.
They do come In two lengths and I’ve found that the shorter one tends to foul the bearing housing at the top of the steering headstock. The longer one is about half an inch longer and clears the bearing housing but it means having a half inch shorter spring.
I will give Jake a call.
Thanks to all for your suggestions.
