Webb fork parts

I need some bits and pieces to refurbish the forks on my 1939 Flying Squirrel as follows

knurled washer 7/16 bore
spindle nut 1/2
spindle nut 7/16
spindle nut 3/8
hand adjuster to damper (chromed metal adjuster on the fork leg).

So far I have not had much luck in sourcing these parts, can anyone help?

Try Elk Engineering, who advertise in various ‘classic’ mags/Old Bike Mart, etc.. Also the BS Cycle Thread 26 tpi single-chamfer nuts should be available from various suppliers, especially if you are prepared to have stainless steel nuts. Ray Daniels certainly used to supply these bits and pieces, but I haven’t seen his adverts for a while, and maybe he has retired ?

Please do NOT contact Barry (Baz) for repairs at the moment. He has been very poorly with a severe chest infection, on top of underlying asbestosis. I suspect that he will also not want to be supplying spare parts, but that is just my impression after talking to him last week. Get well soon Baz !

I found a good engineer who has lathe, miller and grinder based at his home. He does contract work for me and sometimes works at my premises where he does not have suitable machines or tooling himself. His quality is good and his prices fair. If I can help him with unusual taps, tools and drawings, I will do so. It is a pleasure to help a good man and a fellow engineer
