What drum?

I have a Royal enfield rear wheel but no drum or shoes and a ropey back plate I am told a certain ‘modern’ car drum is the right size to machine to fit the hub and I see that Ford Drums fitted to Mondeo etc seem to be 203mm dia which is 8″ in real money has anyone done this mod or know what drum would be good modification material?

Whew! +£300 thats a lot of looking in car spares for a £20.00 solution the plain drum on a Vincent is only £57.00 I think I shall have to keep looking 🙄

Go on the web and search for “royalspares”. They supply Royal Oilfield spares from India. They have a large supply of spares including rear hubs, brake plates, drums, cush drive rubbers etc. They are very helpful and they are CHEAP!
Tell them what you want and you may be lucky.
