Why no events until October?

Hello all,

I’m not wishing to stir up a hornets nest but why are there no Scott events listed until October?

The lockdown is nearing its end (fingers crossed) and many other clubs are getting back to normal. I became a member last year, have worked on my Scott over the winter and was hoping to have a summer of riding with other Scotts.

Maybe events are being organised at a local level but my section remains quiet.

Am I missing something?

We have a limited list of events in the next Yowl that will ship shortly.  It does seem a shame that not more is going on but we have many older and more vulnerable members who will justifiably be cautious about the easing of lockdown.  Certainly,   there would normally be much more action and rides organised so we are still far away from getting back to normal.  Where are you based?  If you wanted to meet up with other members why not see if you could drum up some interest on here for a ride out near you?

Gents. I have always thought that the Isle of Man Classic Event would be a great, although partially impractical, place for the AGM. The Scott marque is always seen as something of a rare and exclusive thing, owned by folks that only ever occasionally use them. Having them turning up all over the island would be a great thing. But not for the environment.

I agree the IOM Classic is a great event and there were a number of Scotts in evidence last time it ran.  That said, its not a cheap ferry crossing!

IOM classic 2021 was cancelled as long ago as March.  Guess it’s still not certain that we can go out.

I did hear that a lung full of two stroke smoke is as good as two doses of Pfizer, though.
