Is now launcched
This site will be a constant work in progress and also a pet project in so much that I had never made a web site before, so I would appreciate any feed back, tips or suggestions. Whilst very basic at this time, the intent is to continually add to the content and make the site even better to use.
If you have any technical information you want to send me, please do as I would love to have and pass onto others through this site. The Scott community is a welcoming group, no better welcome than to freely offer a new enthusiast technical information to get them started on that basket case they have just found clearing out grandpa’s old shed.
When you click on the chapter links it will take you to a file menu where you simply click again on the file and it should open on your screen. All files are PDF, if it does not open I suggest you download the latest adobe reader (free) at http://www.adobe.com If all else fails send me an email and I will do my best to assist – Happy “Scotting”

Looking good Steve! Keep up the good work!
Kind regards,
Erik
This is fantastic.
This is the best of the internet.
This is a great tribute to all those people who freely contributed their experiences and ideas into the public domain over the years and i think that regardless of whether or not it is all information written in stone(!). Technicalites is a great gift to Scott Owners everywhere.
If ever there were deserving recipients of a Club award for individual effort, made without any desire for financial reward, to enrichen the experience of the International Scott owner, Bill Jamieson and Steve Enticott have my vote.
Congratulations to you both.
Richard Moss
Excellent Steven…What a good read !!! Regards Peter.
Just updated site with a new disclaimer giving further credit to Yowl and the contributors to SOC.
Much deserved, and also a link recommending membership of SOC, something we always do!
Thanks for your many messages of support

I have added the 8th Scott eNewsletter to the site, this eNewsletter was despatched in June.
The next edition of the eNewsletter (the 9th) will be issued this week by email as usual and added then to http://www.scotttechnicalities.com.au in October for download.
Please ensure we have your current email address for this weeks posting if it has changed.

Steven, thanks for the good work regarding Scott Technicalities.
Today I had a problem with my 34 Flying Squirrel. I had a backfire and drove backwards for a few meters instead of forwards.
After that I couldn’t use the kickstart anymore.
In my mind I expected that I had to remove the gearbox because of a loose part, but thanks to Tecnicalities (7.1.08), I could read that it could be solved quickly and indeed, within a few seconds it was repaired.
Steven thanks to you this information is available and saved me a lot of unneccessary work.
Cheers Fred, always feels good to know youve helped someone out…
