I’ve just received my April issue of “The Classic MotorCycle”, and was surprised to find yet more Scott stuff, four full pages, including the centre-spread double page photo of the ex-George Reed 1919 machine owned by the VMCC, and looking very nice.
It is a great pity that some original items have been ‘lost’ from this machine whilst in the custody of certain VMCC guardians, and whilst most have been replaced, the lovely original legshields, and both of the Brookes leather-fronted tool boxes, have gone, ‘absent without leave’…. I don’t think that George would be pleased about that !

How many bikes have they got ? and how many are Scotts >? I see from the accounts that they are valued at £233,500. One Brough and 25Scotts???

I’m not sure what they have got, but know about the ex-Harold ‘Oily’ Karslake bitsa veteran “Dreadnought”, and the George Reed Scott, but don’t know of others, except of course for the bikes regularly awarded as raffle prizes.
