my father who is in his late 70s often talks fondly of his 1927 Scott that he owned many years ago to burn rubber around the Oxford shire villages where we live, all i know of this venerable machine is that it was a two speed and it was a 600cc , the reg was YF448 . Is it poss able that the bike is still breath in fire ? and even registered with the club ? . if the answer to these questions is yes does it get shown at any of you events , i am a keen motorcyclist myself as my BMW is my main transport and would dearly love to sup prise him by taking him to a show where he could Accidentally find his trusty old Scott on display and swop a few stories with its pres sent owner.
I know this is a long shot as a lot of water has passed under the bridge since he sold it many years ago and am aware that it may not have survived the ravages of time but i feel it is worth a try. any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated .
