Thanks Mike, I will contact Geoff right away 😀
Colin, and again the money is on it’s way.
For other overseas members: try to use paypal also. It’s quite easy.
Happy Scottin !

No reactions after 25 days, but if anyone knows that a pre 1915 Scott can be used (or not) with a passenger, please let me know.
It appears that there is one for sale, so it would be nice to know if it will work with a passenger.
Thanks for your reaction !
Great those non-coloured photo’s.
Additional you can find 52 photo’s at: https://www.vmcmotor.com/Pages/Fotoalbum/DutchScottRun200712082007/index.html
Geert and family, thanks for organising this fine event 😆 .
We enjoyed the scenery, had nice weather and a good run in the country (even in two countries).
It’s nice to see a number of Scott’s and to compare and in fact see that they are all the same make, but they are all different.
Again: Geert thanks for this great event !
Fred and Janette
Colin,
Great service. I just payed and this went very quick !

Colin,
In Europe there might be an alternative. Since we are in the Euro-zone, since last year we can pay an Euro amount to another account in Europe free of charge up to 50.000 Euro.
In order to do this, you have to pay in EURO to the IBAN accountnumber of SOC and use the SWIFT-address (Bank Identifier Code).
Since you then will pay in Euro, you have either to ask SOC how many Euro you have to pay, or you can pay something extra and ask SOC to put the additional amount on your Spares Scheme account.
Lewis, the Klaxon on eBay mentions 24 V. I think most Scotts prefer 6 volt instead of 24 volts !
Steven, thanks for the good work regarding Scott Technicalities.
Today I had a problem with my 34 Flying Squirrel. I had a backfire and drove backwards for a few meters instead of forwards.
After that I couldn’t use the kickstart anymore.
In my mind I expected that I had to remove the gearbox because of a loose part, but thanks to Tecnicalities (7.1.08), I could read that it could be solved quickly and indeed, within a few seconds it was repaired.
Steven thanks to you this information is available and saved me a lot of unneccessary work.
As I wrote on april 24th: “I want to become a member of The Scott Owners’ Club”.
On april 27th I paid my contribution to the SOC’s account, but until now I did not receive any magazine or notification of my membershipsnumber.
Anyone an idea how long it will take to become a member ?
8) By the way: last weekend I used my 1934 Scott FS for the Windmill Rally in Sweden. It’s really nice to ride with a bike like this in the hills, along the lakes and in the country ❗

Gerard, I’m interested ! A bit of work is no problem, as long as it is complete.
I would very much like to receive some more details and pictures of your 2 speed scott.
