Thank you for your feedback. Agreed, I think a good solution is to use the 3.00 x 20 Avon Speedmaster Ribbed MK II on the front and an Ensign Universal 3.00 x 20 on the rear. There are more options available with the 19-inch wheel, but there’s no reason to replace the wheels I have at the moment, especially with this setup of tires. Both of these tires appear to be available from various dealers here in the US & the UK, including Coker Tire here in the US and Vintage Tyres in the UK.

If anyone has a picture or two of their magneto-to-pilgrim pump assembly with the cover removed that they wouldn’t mind emailing to me, I’d be very grateful. I’d love to see how the magneto is attached to the frame, and the type of drive system you are using. Pictures speak a thousand words.
