OK, I can understand that for the radiator but for the oiltank? You can ride quite some distance on one tank…
Maybe it has something to do with a sidecar that was attached to the top frame lug? Maybe this interferred with the cap in the original position. But looking at my bike this also seems hardly feasible…
Any more ideas?
