Hello, I’m looking for an early handchange gearbox shell, the type used in 1927/8 only. At a glance they are similar to the later shells, but the end-cover locating dowel centres are slightly different, with the rearmost dowel being about one eighth of an inch further forwards, together with the rear part of the shell. All the other dowel and stud centres are the same as on the later castings. Some of the earliest ones have a rather rough ‘sandcast’ surface texture. Cash waiting, or I can exchange for a very good later type shell, or lots of other vintage Flyer/Rep parts. If you can help please send me a P.M. or email me direct on :- yowl1@hotmail.com
