We need to diferentiate between proxy voting and postal voting. Proxy voting is for when one member can not attend a meeting and instucts another member who can attend, to vote on his behalf. I have shares in a Papua New Guinea Company and I get to vote at each AGM by appointing someone I know to vote on my behalf. Very democratic.
