For anyone who may be interested, the historic Kop Hill Climb is being re-created on the last weekend in September. This is a mixed bike and car event, and the organisers are seeking more motorcycle entries.
The venue, just south of Princes Risborough in Buckinghamshire, was one of the country’s leading hill climbs from 1910 until 1925 when racing on public roads was banned. The fastest ever ascent, at an average speed of 81mph, was by Freddie Dixon on a Douglas in 1925. This re-creation is non-competitive – there is no timing, and bikes & cars must be street legal.

It has the possibility of being a very good event!
