The London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. Sunday 5th Nov.
A number of us, riding our Scotts, are meeting on the Brighton Road on the hill on the south side of Redhill from about 8.00 am onwards, to watch the cars struggle up the hill. We will be parking in a side road called Woodlands Road which is on the left, half way up the hill, just past the traffic lights. We will then ride down, accompanying the cars, to Clayton Hill, Pyecome, West Sussex, where we will stop at Ian Pollards (VMCC member) for refreshments and further viewing of the veteran cars from his drive as they struggle up the hill. Ian’s place is about 200 yards up Clayton Hill on the right, (opposite the Jack & Jill windmills).
Clayton Hill is one way only during the car run, so if you miss Ian’s place it is a long way round to get back to it! However, it will be sign posted.
The weather looks set to be good, so let’s have a good tun out.
