Hi all,
I am VERY pleased and relieved to tell you that I have found a suitable venue for my Eastern Section meetings !! As previously, we meet at 10am on the second Sunday of the month.
The new venue is in the snug at the Buttercross Pub in Bingham Market Place. Very easy to find, and plenty of parking around the market place and down the adjacent Station Street.
The pub is one of the Wetherspoon chain, and like most of their pubs, open from about 8am, with breakfasts available, and a comprehensive, good value menu, excellent toilets, etc.. Most regular SOC attenders make a coffee, or maybe two, last all morning, but at Wetherspoons you can get free coffee refills all morning !
The snug is reserved for us on Sunday October 9th, (doorway at the bottom of the stairs), so we will see how it goes, and if satisfactory I will make it a permanent booking. I’ve missed the next issue of Yowl to announce this, but will inform Kev for future issues. I hope you can make it !
