John Minns, who kindly organises this run every year, has asked me to confirm that the venue for the start is The Horseshoe Inn, Market Place, Longnor, Derbyshire, SK17 0NT, which is south of Buxton, just off the B 5053, in an area with very picturesque undulating countryside, and quiet roads, ideal for gently yowling your Scott.
