I have a question on the Kickstarter boss as finally getting round to fixing a stiff Kickstarter here.
While doing this we removed the boss and we took it out. There is a round “sleeve”, for want of a better word, that the boss fits into and that dropped down slightly inside once we removed the boss. During reassembly we raised it back up and get the boss back in all correct. It all has a good fit now, but just wanted to to check if there are any issues with what we’ve done, as we don’t know the shape of the sleeve inside or if it attaches to anything inside the gearbox itself?
Gearbox number is 137M. And it’s. 1927 Scott flyer.
