I found a shim on top of the float that lowered the level 1,5 mm.
By adding a tacho, I realised, that my senses said “change gear” at 3000 rpm.
From measures given by Roger, and some calculation, I found that 35 degrees is 70 mm measured on the circumference of the flywheel. With a paintmarker and a strobe, I got the ignition right. The distributor gives “max” at 2900 rpm (says the Lucas manual)
By the way, Lucas DKX2A distributor is made in at least 4 different versions.
