Hi Im running a squirrel sport with swashplate pump,Ive fitted a sight glass on the input to the pump so I can see the amount of oil passing through,Ive seen in the tecnicalities oil pump pages how to set the eccentric pin to vary delivery with throttle position and how to set the base level delivery using the “click” wheel on the forward end of the angle shaft but there is a further adjustment through the blanking plug on the rear of the spindle bore(this is not shown on the drawing but appears on the pic of the stripped unit)does anyone know how this is adjusted?Ive had it to bits so its probably not in the same position as it was and I did not think to measure it,I assume that it lines up the oil delivery ports with the inlets to the cylinders so if I stripped it and measured it I could probably reset it but as its working Id rather not strip it again,thanks,phil parry-jones.
