If any local riders are interested the VMCC’s Touring Section is holding this three day event on Saturday, 15th September, Sunday 16th September and Monday 17th September 2012. Riders meet in the village car park in Howey, on the A470 2 miles south of Llandrindod Wells, at about 9.30 each day for a 100+ mile ride through the byways of mid Wales.
The event was started in 2001 by Scott Club member Tony Boundy, under the banner “International Six Day Tour of Wales” and followed the routes used by the old ISDTW riders. It has subsequently been reduced in scale, and (sadly!) uses tarmac roads only.
