After a series of delays and disappointments I recently managed to get a very nice pipe in polished stainless steel. Ironically it was made less than 25 miles from where I live, in Bulwell, Nottm.. I now need another pipe making and I have been able to borrow the jig from the member who had the last batch made. The pipe was on display at the Gathering and I got seven tentative orders on the day. If you need a pipe, suitable for TT Reps and Sprint Specials, (long stroke only) please let me know so that I have an idea of batch size and hence an approximate price per pipe. Also please state if you want the lugs for half compression valves. I don’t need any deposits yet, just expressions of need as it were!! Price could be anywhere between £170 and £220 depending on batch size, and the cost of the front flanges that I have still to source. I will give it a couple of weeks to estimate demand, so don’t miss the boat. Does the Spares Scheme wish to obtain some for stock?
