Having been off the road for about 10 months, I rode my Clubman Special/Squirrel bitsa on a few short shakedown runs. It has always started first kick when warm for years but suddenly, last week, after it’s first decent run, it needed a long push from a convenient young builder to get it going. I had checked a plug and it was dry with a good spark. I’ve just stripped the carb and blown out what few holes it has but the bike still won’t start and the plugs are still dry. Any suggestions please? PS. I always use Esso Super but did fill up with E10 but am sure that’s a red herring as the plugs are dry.
