Hi,
Was hoping to flip but cracked edges in a few locations…
Found a thrust washer for roller thrust bearing but i have to rework.
Was hoping I could find one without grinding one on my lathe….
Doug can you tell me where they are available?
Joe

Detent plate.
Hi,
Finished up detent plate a few weeks ago. First i should have known that fit and finish was not yet perfected and one detent plate is not the same as others. Mount holes and arc were not the same so I removed gearbox and started frim square one. After mounting plate I marked box with black magic marker and with heaviest spring and ball i selected each gear at best engagement point and tapped on arm to make mark in plate. Then center punched and drilled 1/8″ hole (approximately 1/16″) then finished up with a bit smaller than the 9/32 ball to a proper depth to seat ball ( aprox .100″ as i remember). All seems good now.
On to replacing worn out clutch actuation thrust washer as it is in horribly condition.
Hi Guys,
So a “Moss” crank is an aftermarket or modified crankshaft assembly?
From Chis’s post it seems to be adequate for this crankshaft so I will move on to the next issue on my list.
Appreciate the help and time from all…
Happy New year , hope its a great one for all..
Joe
Hi Scotty,
Appreciate all your help/time it is exactly what i need to make one without guessing position and spacing of detents…
Have a great day…Joe
