Thanks for your reply, the engine is a standard ls unit it is just that the head I have has been skimmed and I dont know how much has been taken off. The brass tubes are missing and were obviously removed to enable the skim to be done. It would just be nice to have a number to aim at, I will have to suck it and see I guess (literally) !
