Brum Scotts did not have side stands fitted as standard. I do have a clamp-on one fitted to mine, about four inches back from the front engine bolt. You can often find these for sale at m/c auto jumbles, but you need to make sure that the opening is lage enough to fit on the Scott frame tube.

The Scott forks are not upside down forks-they are the right way up!
It’s all the modern bikes that have got their forks upside down!!
