I am also a member of both clubs and myself and all the Scottish Scott owners don’t want to amalgamate with the VMCC.
The club has a fantastic magazine withn good editors all about Scotts and the members who don’t travel to attend meetings this is how they keep in touch with their friends asking queries about their bikes.
Over the years the club has built up great expertise and knowledge, a lot of spares for Scotts with help from specialist sevices for us all to keep our bikes going, not to mention the stored data and bikes history for members to look up when needed.

Hi Arthur
I own the number 10 Silkscott, colour is purple and cream and I would like to see a picture of your bike.
There is a good story on the Silkscott in the book British Motor cycles 4 by Steve wilson.
My contact details are in the Yowl under Scottish secretary section if I can help.
