May I remind readers that day guests are welcome to attend the Southern Rally. With due consideration to our hosts, and at their request, casual visitors must be a club member or accompanied by a club member. This event is NOT open to the general public. If you are attending casually on either or both days please let me know.

We have been advised there might be extensive roadworks in Feldon Lane at the time of our event.

Too late, Yowl is in the mail. Why not put a “offers” ticket on it at Banbury? It’s the ideal place.

I gave Glyn another similar collection last night, and he is going to organize them into complete sets as far as possible. Martin Dasek from the Czech Republic would also like a set, if he can arrange transport.

Great, our wives will be delighted!

    A few more details…
Colin’s wife Shauna requests no flowers, thank you.
There is addition parking for the wake at Sandridge village hall.
Shauna does not feel up to attending an additional gathering on 10th October, so we will revert to business-as-usual Scott Club section meeting, all welcome.

Colin’s funeral will be at the Garston Crematorium on Friday 6th October at 10.40am. The address…
    Garston Crematorium
    (West Herts Crematorium)
    High Elms Lane
    Garston
    Watford
    WD25 0JS

The wake will follow at The Green Man, 31, High Street, Sandridge, AL4 9DD. Parking is limited here so mourners are encouraged to car share where ever possible.

I am proposing a further celebration of Colin’s life with a gathering of his motorcycling colleagues on Tuesday 10th October, at 8pm. in lieu of the Scott Owners Club & Friends meeting, at the usual venue, Broadlakes Social Club, Shenley Lane, London Colney, AL2 1DG. If Shauna is in agreement with this proposal, more details will follow.

    Regards

    Richard Tann
