If the rubber water pipes have gone hard, you’ll probably have to cut them to enable sufficient movement ti remove the radiator.

I cant help with reduction gearbox supply or sourcing but you may wish to consider converting it into a dripper unit as described in previous Yowl August 98..

Whilst i dont have any personal experience of this conversion, i have heard from others that it is a successful modification and allows better lubrication control, its certainly simpler and less prone to wear.

    Lewis,

You must be commended on the amount of work and information that you have made available in the document archive.

I was wondering if it would be possible to reload the October 1982 edition of Yowl as the link doesnt seem to work.

    Regards,

    Scotty H

Roger Moss sells very new high performance heads manufactured from higher strength aluminium compared to the original material used

    Matthew,

Saftek based in Cleckheaton BD19 5LT will reline your basket and plates, brake shoes etc.

They are familar with working on Vintage machinery and do an excellent job and usually offer a super quick turnaround too (typically  within a couple of days).

I must say that I don’t have any association with the company other than being one of their satisfied customers,

    Hi Lewis,

I asked Peter DeKramer  ( Rutland Dynamos) the same question  and he said that it isn’t an issue you just need the opposite points, cam ring and A/R unit.

I’m sure my BTH Mag Generator is CW and i’m looking for a ACW, I’ll have a look and if I’m correct  we should be able to sort something out between us.

    Regards,

    GH
